HSBC City of Bhangra Festival

HSBC City of Bhangra Festival

The Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society (VIBC) held a launch event on March 13 at Central City for the 2012 HSBC City of Bhangra Festival. Mo Dhaliwal, chair of the VIBC Society presented the program for the 2012 year. The launch treated us to a celebration of Indian food, music, and dance. The evening gave everyone in attendance a flavor of what to expect this year from the HSBC City of Bhangra Festival. The nine -day festival will feature talented performers in many genres from across the globe.

We were excited to hear that Surrey will host some of the HSBC City of Bhangra Festival events.  There will be a variety of events, both free and ticketed.
