Newton Community Safety Forum Feb. 15, 2014 – Part 2 of 2

Surrey604 will be streaming the community meeting live from the Newton Recreation Centre gym on Saturday, February 15th from 2:00-4:00pm. Tune in here during the meeting time for a live video stream of the event plus you can see it on-demand here after it airs.

In response to the overwhelming interest and concerns of Newton residents following the first public meeting of the Newton Community Association, a Neighbourhood Public safety forum is being held to facilitate dialogue between residents and public officials.

Newton residents are encouraged to attend to discuss their concerns and will have a chance to speak at an open microphone to address local politicians, stakeholders and RCMP.

    I totally forgot the meeting was today! I wanted to ask why did it take so long to install the cameras outside the arena pool. Judy was beaten Dec 28 and the cameras were just put up like 4 days ago. I am glad that they video taped the meeting so i can watch it.
