Surrey604’s iPad Mini Giveaway Winner is…

Reverend Llama

Thank you to everyone who participated in Surrey604’s iPad Mini Giveaway Contest!

Surrey resident Gemma McNeill’s name was randomly drawn from amongst those who registered for a Surrey CitySpeaks account as part of Surrey604’s sponsorship of CitySpeaks at Party for the Planet. Gemma says she feels lucky to have won, but we feel lucky too because when we hand delivered her iPad Mini, we got to visit her farm!

Gemma, and her partner Doug run the Zaklan Heritage Farm, a small organic farm right here in Surrey. Zaklan Heritage Farm is a mixed organic vegetable production farm with a small rotationally grazed chicken flock. During the summer, they sell produce at the farm and also at the Surrey Urban Farmer’s Market. There is much to explore at this secret gem in Surrey, just off King George near 84th. Bring your family for a visit!
