Horseshoe Bay – “The Soul Sanctuary ”

Horseshoe Bay – “The Soul Sanctuary ”

Our dream came true ten months ago, when we had our first steps outside Vancouver international Airport. It was huge steps for both my wife and me and of course our three angels. But now and after almost a year, we think about it as a great blessing. We failed in love with the people, nature and cities; we failed in love with CANADA.12903556_10153884398281999_2121750332_o

In today’s trip, I will take you to one of the most wonderful places I ever visited, Horseshoe Bay or as I like to call it “The Soul sentry”.

Wonderful Park, perfect ocean view, hot cup of coffee and above all holding the hand of your love.
We discovered the place “as usual” by chance, we got lost while we were heading to Britannia museum, to check the mysterious mining world. My kids wanted to find “The gold of Mine craft”; the game!!! Believe it or not they found it and we12914999_10153884398471999_968429249_o went home with real gold. Any way we were supposed to visit also Shannon fails and enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature and listen to her voices through the water songs to the mountain’s rocks.

As usual and after full day of fun activities, such as diving inside the cave using a real mine carriages, visiting the old copper extracting facilities, panning gold from the water canal and small hike to have the best view of the falls, it is time to eat!! First we were looking for the nearest coffee and we found a family place in Loins bay where you can enjoy hot privileges with homemade snacks or even warm soup bowl.

Then we had many choices at Horseshoe bay; PIZZA, Fish & chips and other restaurants serving both Canadian and Italian cuisines.

Since our first visit, Horseshoe bay became our first destination for the whole family.

That is for today, I hope you enjoyed the photos. See you soon in another destination of our beautiful BC.12894317_10153884398356999_1401033936_o
