Episode 5: Nathan Bosgra’s road to recovery – a fight for marijuana legalization

Nathan Bosgra is on his twelfth week of CBD (cannabidiol) therapy. He began having symptoms of progressive encephalomyelitis with rigidity and myoclonus (PERM) syndrome five years ago – a neurological disorder characterized by progressive muscle stiffness and episodes of painful muscle spasms.

In this episode Surrey604 talks to Cannabis Activist Jodie Emery, she discusses the research and benefits of CBD and the action the government must take to benefit Canadians.

Cannabidiol is one of at least 85 active cannabinoids in the marijuana plant. According to research, it is an antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, helps reduce anxiety and even prevent Alzheimer’s disease among other health benefits.

Tune into Pot TV on June 10th to listen to Bosgra himself talk about the CBD case study. He will also discuss the importance of marijuana legalization to help those whose lives depend on the benefits of cannabis.
