See You At The Movies | In Loving Memory of Sippa Mudliar

‘SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES’ is a dinner and dance fundraiser hosted in loving memory of Navlesh ‘Sippa’ Mudliar. Being completely exclusive, out of the ordinary and fitting to the entertainment scene – the evening will be hosted in the style of an original movie premiere/film production.

Alongside celebrating Sippa’s love for films and passion towards film production – ‘SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES’ presents the unique opportunity to support a struggling student’s and remarkable artist’s educational backbone of pursuing a world class post-secondary program at Vancouver Film School (VFS) ALL revenue (100% of event proceeds) from tickets, raffles, and cocktails will be donated to ‘The Sippa Memorial Scholarship’ at VFS.

ABOUT ‘The Sippa Memorial Scholarship’
The Sippa Memorial Scholarship is a new endowment program in memory of Navlesh “Sippa” Mudliar, a former Film Production student at Vancouver Film School. The new scholarship fund in Sippa’s name is designed to celebrate and honour his passion for the entertainment arts by awarding financial aid to a struggling VFS student. VFS is doing its part to honour its former student by offering to match funds raised at an upcoming fundraising event for the scholarship.

SippaMemorialScholarship‘The Sippa Memorial Scholarship’ Criteria:
– Essay or Video Submission: Applicants must submit a 1,500-word essay or 5-to 7-minute video expressing his/her passion about the VFS Film Production program
– Demonstrated Financial Need: The scholarship will be awarded to individuals with a desire to attend the VFS Film Production program, but who have limited financial resources to do so
– Minimum Academic Standing: Students are required to have a 2.0 GPA or above to attend VFS
– Socio-Economic Background: Preference will be given to student(s) of South Asian background
