The Annual Jalsa Seerat is taking place this weekend

When? Sunday November 20

Where? Baitur Rahman Mosque 9570 RIver Road Delta

untitledThis event is hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at to celebrate the first and great champion of women’s rights. The event is aimed to bring the community together instead of being divided on opinions and views. The program is specifically going to emphasize the rights and freedom of woman.

Recently, many Muslim women have been discriminated against in Canada. Woman have received scrutiny for wearing their hijab and several different examples have been seen on the news. This event calls for the discrimination to end and the empowerment of women to begin.

Registration is at 1:30 PM

Program starts at 2:00 PM

And the best part? Free Lunch will be served.

This event is only for women.
