It may not look like it yet, but Spring is lurking just around the corner. Time to start thinking about getting our hands a little dirty and help our city to prepare for a beautiful Spring and Summer.
Many areas of Surrey need attention and clean up. There are groups all over the city that are seeking volunteers to lend a hand. It’s a great way to meet new people, do some good for your community, and learn about our environment!
The Lower Mainland Green Team organizes meet-ups throughout Metro Vancouver to address environmental issues and promote agricultural sustainability. You’ll find this determined and committed group harvesting crops, planting, and collecting litter. The Lower Mainland Green Team is here to protect and conserve our neighbourhoods so we can continue to enjoy some of the most naturally beautiful locations in our city.
