Heart and Stroke Foundation Summer Drink Fundraiser

Heart and Stroke Summer Fundraiser

1.6 million Canadians are living with the effects of heart disease and close to 50,000 new strokes and 70,000 heart attacks occur each year in Canada. The Surrey Area Office of the Heart and Stroke Foundation works to reduce the impact of heart disease and stroke by funding the advancement of research, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and increasing awareness.

Heart and Stroke Foundation collaborates with Wired Monk in Fleetwood

The Heart and Stroke Foundation Surrey Office is collaborating with Wired Monk in Fleetwood this summer to help raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation by promoting Wired Monks summer’s healthiest drink, the Red Ice Tea.

Why the Red Ice Tea? The Red Ice Tea is made from 100% Organic African Nectar Rooibos tea, but has been grounded up so it can be extracted from an expresso machine. You are able to get 5 times more the antioxidants instead of steeping the tea. Great for digestion, improves circulation, and relieves stress.

The Fundraiser: For every Red Ice Tea purchased, $2 dollars will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Donations will go towards improving research and technology and maintaining community development programs.
Dates: Fundraiser will occur on Aug 4th – Aug 24 2014 located at 304-15930 Fraser Hwy.
Contest: Instagram a selfie with your Red Ice Tea to be entered to win an exclusive Heart and Stroke Gift Basket. Mention us on Facebook or Twitter by tagging #wiremonkinfleetwood & #hsfsummerdrink to receive extra entries.

A little goes a long way. Please help the Heart and Stroke Foundation create more survivors.
