Surrey Greek Food Festival

Steeped in history and lapped by the Mediterranean sea, Greece is home to some of the finest ingredients in the world, some of the most eclectic tastes from the West balance against some of the more raw and upbeat tastes from the East on Greek tables.

From flamed cooked souvlaki and succulent lamb, Greek cuisine can delight food enthusiasts from all over the world.

Starting June 3, enjoy the food of Greece and experience multi-cultural performances at the 25th annual Surrey Greek Food Festival. Originally started as a celebration of Hellenic cuisine and culture bringing a piece of Greece to the lower mainland, it has now grown to become a celebration of the Greek heritage, extraordinary cuisine and diverse backgrounds of British Columbia.

As a large fundraiser that supports Greek language classes to Greek folk dancing, attendees can expect authentic pork, lamb and chicken dishes; Greek pastries – baklava, bougatsa and loukoumades; enjoy live Greek music Friday, Saturday and Sunday; multicultural entertainment; and booths offering a variety of Greek gifts and specialty items.
