The Opening Night Celebration for Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival (VISAFF) was “THE” event to be seen at as it kicked off the festival with unforgettable entertainment.

Attendees walked the red carpet with one of the finest actresses in Bollywood, “Ms. Huma Qureshi” to indulge in some distinctly Indian delicacies and experience a night to remember to begin a week of incredible big screen entertainment. VISAFF celebrates International, Canadian films and music.

Some of the top picks are Actor in Law, Cinema Travellers, The Valley, The Snake Charmer, Abu and The Union Leader. They also have a line of local shorts films, features and documentaries. The most awaited films are; Maple the Documentary, Welcome to Surrey (Web Series), Help Wanted, Ranvir, and No way to Return.

It is Canada’s 150th birthday and the festival is taking this opportunity to celebrate with one of the best Women’s Organizations in the World, All Ladies League’s Women Economic Forum from Delhi, India. VISAFF brings four days of excitement to the city with the Gala, Cocktail Night, Film Previews, Talk with Celebrities, Workshops and Awards Night.
