While roaming around Liverpool, UK, I discovered St. Luke’s church. It was bombed out in 1941 during the May Blitz of Liverpool in World War II.

It was a beautiful little church from the outside. I didn’t even realize it was totally hollow and empty until I came around the corner just as these artists (Adele, Shivon and Ambrose pictured above) were unlocking the door. I asked if I could join them and they let me right in. We go acquainted and they told me about how they have been struggling to save this church for the arts community.
It was so beautiful in there with art hanging everywhere and the sunflower installation by a Jesuit priest from the Philippines. Watch my video to learn more, and enjoy my photographs below!
