We recently got a hold of these spectacular renderings of Surrey’s Civic Hotel, the premium world class hotel that represents our city’s first new high-rise hotel in two decades.

Civic Hotel is part of Surrey’s first mixed-use hotel and residential project, 3 Civic Plaza – a project that Surrey604 has covered before (Also: Watch a video fly-through of 3 Civic Plaza we shared last summer). Not much has been shared about the hotel until now.
Civic Hotel will be a much-needed addition to Surrey’s corporate and leisure market, and with 37,000-40,000 guests per year expected at Civic Hotel, it is estimated that more than $3.6 million in ancillary revenue will be injected into local businesses and services each year. The addition of Civic Hotel and the recent announcement that this area will be the future home of Coast Capital Savings’ new head office, further establish King George Boulevard as a major business corridor. And 3 Civic Plaza’s 50,000 square feet of Class A office space will serve Surrey’s need for more transit-oriented office space. A recent report from Jones, Lang, LaSalle noted that this is more difficult to find in this market than any other.
Civic Hotel will also feature a dedicated co-working space, an increasingly attractive offering that is in high demand.
The hotel will also boast 144 rooms, a street-level licensed restaurant and lounge, market café (that connects to the Civic Plaza), a health club, an indoor lap pool, and meeting space large enough to accommodate more than 300 people. The unique two-storey “glass box” grand lobby will be shared by residences, offices and the hotel, functioning as a social hub.
