2019 Growing Room Feminist Literary Festival

Growing Room Feminist Literary Festival hosts more than 50 events with boundary-defying talent, from March 8 to 17, 2019. Offerings include workshops and manuscript consultations, panels and readings with award-winning authors, with a focus on art as inspiration, comedy and feminist humour, futurisms, podcasting, inclusive storytelling and survival in the face of systemic abuse.

Participating writers include Sharon Bala, Cicely Blain, Ivan Coyote, Alicia Elliott, Carrianne Leung, Shazia Hafiz Ramji, Eden Robinson and many more.
