The process of leading organizational change is complex, challenging, and potentially very rewarding. Join Dr. Ian McCarthy for this one-day session and be introduced to the concepts, theories and methods that can be used to deliver effective and lasting change.

Participants will learn how the theory, methods and tools presented can combine and apply to change problems they have experienced or will face. The program will involve a significant amount of group exercise work as well as a change management simulation to ensure theory meets practice in the most effective way.

Canadian Insititue of Management members can earn up to 8 PDUs.

Lunch: Full lunch at the Civic Hotel included + beverages throughout the day

Cost: $275 per person, includes the cost of the simulation, lunch and refreshments.

Background:

Dr. Ian McCarthy is a Professor in Technology & Operations Management and the Director of the CPA Innovation Centre at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. His research and teaching focus is on how organizations should be designed, managed and changed so as to succeed in different industries. Ian is an award-winning teacher, having taught at some of the leading business and engineering schools, including UNBC’s MBA program.
