Christmas Tree Festival Coming to Museum of Surrey
Twenty-five Cloverdale businesses will compete for best-dressed tree
Surrey, BC – Museum of Surrey is kicking off their 1st annual Cloverdale Christmas Tree Festival on December 1 with a fun and festive fete for all ages from 1 to 5 p.m.
The free family event, in partnership with the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce, will feature crafts, performances from Allen Barnett and the incredible Mayday Club Choir, complimentary hot chocolate and an opportunity for a photo op with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves.
Twenty-five local businesses have sponsored a tree, benefitting the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper program.

Until Dec. 21, the public has the chance to vote for their favorite tree and enter a prize draw for a $100 gift card to spend in downtown Cloverdale. All participating businesses taking part in the festival are based in Cloverdale. They decorate their tree and provide a minimum of two wrapped presents for the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper program.
“This festival has been very well received by Cloverdale businesses,” said Lynn Saffery, Museum of Surrey manager. “It’s great to see so many groups jump on board to be part of this inaugural event.”
The trees will be on display until Dec. 21. The Museum of Surrey is located at 17710 56A Ave. For more information, visit surrey.ca/museum.
