Vancouver based Outlaw-Folk Band Clay Ravens Releases Sophomore EP - Desert Rose
EP Release Date: June 15, 2020
Clay Ravens are a rocking six-piece outlaw-folk band from Vancouver BC. Their sound combines the soul of Americana lyrics with masterful improvisation skills and foot stomping melodies inspired by classic folk, western film, and 70’s desert rock. From folk ballads, western dance anthems, to shredding rock solos, Clay Ravens create a fresh musical landscape which is pleasantly reminiscent of an earlier time.
The Desert Rose EP draws from an outlaw, folk, and desert rock sound, featuring the vocals of siblings Justin and Brianne Huntley Smith which showcases the blood harmony that drives the band’s unique sound.
