Nabs West Speed Mentoring 2019

Spend an evening asking questions and gaining valuable wisdom from some of Vancouver and the Fraser Valley’s top marketing, media, and broadcast professionals in the industry.

Nabs West Speed Mentoring encourages participants to take the leap and immerse themselves in an evening of fast-paced networking. Each individual has the opportunity to meet with four to six mentors of their choice, where they can make their way through small group conversations. Mentors will impart knowledge, advice, and answer questions pertaining to the industry, networking, and succeeding in an ever-changing industry.

The earlier you register the higher your chance is of landing your top five choices for mentors. Think of this opportunity as speed dating for your career. Speed mentoring presents the chance that many students or professionals get to connect with key industry contacts. This is your chance to ask questions to industry professionals one on one, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity.

It is mandatory for mentees to choose their top five mentors from the mentor list upon registering for the event. You will be given 15 minutes with three to five of the mentors you have chosen. If you didn’t choose any mentors, then you will be randomly placed with a mentor.

This is a networking event meant for students, industry juniors, and professionals to be introduced into their prospective industry. While follow-up connections are welcomed by some mentors, please do not bring resumes, portfolios or other self-promoting collateral to present to the mentors. Pitching and promotion are not allowed at this event and nabs reserves the right to revoke admission to those who do not follow these guidelines.
