Family Music Time 

Where kids and parents sing and play music together!   

Bring the family together online and learn some songs on piano and guitar that everyone can jam to at home. No instruments? No problem! You'll also learn some basic vocal tricks to sing together in harmony! Plus, families will be entered into a draw to win a $50 gift card! This family workshop is brought to you by Sami Ghawi of FUSIONpresents.

Baking Beats with Ruploops

Watch an upbeat and fun video from Ruploops who show that anyone young or old can drop beats, make music and bust-a-move with simple household objects that are secretly musical instruments!

Bubble Art Event

Stick to ‘your bubble’ is an expression we have all heard a lot of over the last year. For Family Day, make and create some memories with your bubble…or by yourself…or with your pets…or plants…all creative people can enter! You can paint a picture, take a silly group Family Day photo, make a TikTok video, sing a song, a skit, or share the music you created in our other Family Day activities. The choice of ‘bubble art’ is up to you. Send your creation to surreycivictheatres@surrey.ca or share to social with the hashtag #SurreyBubbleArt. Three $50 gift cards will be awarded to the most creative entries!

Rules: Event runs from February 12–19 2021. Winners of the gift cards will be contacted after this date.
