Online Youth Nights–recreation for youth at home. Every week is different and there is something for everyone! Join us on Thursdays at 7pm to have fun while social distancing with friends. All events are free and will be in Microsoft Teams.

DIY with Surrey Leadership Youth Council

If you have ever wondered how to make an environmentally-friendly bird feeder or a trendy macramé plant hanger, you are not alone. The Surrey Leadership Youth Council will lead a live workshop tutorial on how to make an environmentally conscious items.

Materials Needed for Bird Feeder:

• 8 pieces of string (3 feet long each, 24 feet total)
• half of a big orange
• bird seeds
• 1 spoon to scoop the orange out
• scissors

Materials Needed for Plant Hanger:

• 6 pieces of 3/16 inch rope or thick string (6 feet long each, 36 feet total)
• 3 inch metal ring
• a plant pot with a plant in it
