​Join Stacey on the farm as she guides you through the soap making process from recipe planning to safety to packaging ideas. This hands-on class will be limited to 10 participants and will be held in our farm's barn. Come meet the goats who help make your soap!

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

As this course involves the use of lye and other potentially dangerous ingredients, this is an adult-only workshop.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is plenty of parking on the farm. Come on in and head down the driveway to the barn.

What's the refund policy?

Full refunds are available with minium three weeks notice. 50% refunds are available up to one week before the event is scheduled to run.

FARM SAFETY

Coghlan Cottage is a working farm. It is not a petting zoo. Please do not wander the farm unaccompanied; many of our fences are electrified and there are many other, not always obvious potential dangers. Please do not touch, chase or feed the animals. Failure to comply with farm safety rules will result in your being asked to leave the premises immediately. Be aware that there are honey bees on the farm. If you have allergies please come prepared.

PLEASE NOTE:

Minimum participation numbers are required in order for the event to go ahead. If minimum enrollment is not met, you may receive credit towards an upcoming course or a refund as you choose.
