First in the trilogy of Paul Strickland's award-winning plays and "just off the coast of factual" Ain't True and Uncle False takes a trip to the Big Fib Trailer Park cul-de-sac.
Through his pitch perfect storytelling, some songs and verbal acrobatics, he transports audiences to a magical place. Common sense may be in short supply, but wisdom abounds in the "family" in Big Fib - Will Perjure and his grandfather Don T. Perjure, Rue Morhazit, Fay and Bri Cation, Ma and Papa Ganda, and, of course, Ain't True and Uncle False.
Strickland's tall-tale fantasy storytelling has sold out performances all over the continent. A 13 time "Best of Fest" award recipient at Fringe Festivals, he writes jokes, stories and songs in Covington, Kentucky.
Tickets are on-line now at tickets.surrey.ca or box office 604-501-5566.
