School’s Out Activities

Plan ahead and keep your kids active and busy when school’s out for the day. We have a variety of ways to keep kids entertained with our city-wide school’s out activities.

School’s Out Activities – Friday February 16, 2018

Fun Zone

Camps include age appropriate programming for children ages 6 to 12 years. Activities include sports, arts, crafts, music, dance and games. Please check with the recreation facility in your community for specific details. Camp Connections are available for extended camp hours.

All Fun Zone camps run from 9am to 3pm and cost $30.50.

Kids Who Cook

The pantry is open! Kids will learn to create a variety of healthy and fun foods and make their own recipe book. This School’s Out activity is for kids ages 6 to 12, runs from 9am to 3pm and costs $45.25.

Art Adventure

Have an art-filled day off school! Create amazing artworks and artifacts with instructors who are experienced art educators and practicing artists. This camp is for children ages 6 to 11 years and costs $47.50.

Combo Camp: School’s Out, Let’s Rock!

Bang to the beat on a Cajon drum with professionals from Rhythm Resource for half of the day and spend the other half exploring music and movement in the visual arts. This camp is for children ages 5 to 10 years and costs $47.50.

Be prepared for plenty of action with this popular camp! Activities include games, crafts, daily public swim times and daily swimming lessons along with a leadership skill opportunity for older participants. This camp is for children ages 7 to 12 years and costs $57.25.

Swim & Skate

Swim, skate, play games and make crafts as well as enjoy a video lunch session on a 8 foot TV screen.  Skate and helmet rentals are included in the fee. Parents and guardians must accompany children on the first day to fill out the medical forms. This camp is for children ages 7 to 12 years and costs $32.50.
