Live in concert: Janelle Nadeau and Joaquin Ayala

Christmas is best expressed through music according to two local musicians.

Join Janelle Nadeau and Joaquin Ayala in concert for an evening of music honouring the season’s traditions through the harmonies of their stringed instruments.

Titled “A Prairie Christmas,” the program combines the familiar with the unusual and draws heavily upon Nadeau’s Prairie upbringing.

“Christmas is so often filled with joy and happiness, but let’s face it, sometimes it can be a remainder of the less pleasant things in life. This is one of the many reason why I love to play during this season,” Nadeau said.

“I am so honoured to continue the custom of bringing beautiful music at this special time of the year for all of those people who look so fondly upon this tradition and maybe for some who find it something of a trial.”

The concert will take place at 7:30pm Saturday, November 26th at The Sanctuary In Brentwood. Tickets are available for $20 and can be purchased at the door as well as online.

Naduea hopes viewers will leave refreshed and ready for the holidays.

“I want my audiences to remember the good times and I hope to help soothe the bad.”
