The Run For Recovery  aims at raising awareness for the Welcome Home Addiction Recovery Academy. The Academy, with locations in Surrey, BC and Seattle, WA, is a long-term, residential, abstinence-based recovery program for men and women ages 19-34.

PricePro is not only a warehouse grocery store, but it is also a program run by Welcome Home. PricePro is a non-profit organization and all proceeds are given to charity.

The event is for friends and family to enjoy too so come out and support the runners and the cause!

This event has garnered a lot of community support so get involved and take part! There will be a number of activities and booths to check out. Here are some of the highlights:

  • BBQ by donation.
  • Prizes galore, including a Cactus Club tasting party package for you and 6 friends.

PricePro and the John Volken Foundation encourages groups to challenge each other and register to run as a team. Healthy competition is always good, especially when it’s for a worthy cause. Take advantage of the reg fee discount when you sign up as a team.
