Join The Surrey International World Music Marathon tonight for an attempt at setting a brand new world record for “Most Cultural Flags Waved”.
The Surrey International World Music Marathon is a Mash-Up Marathon, Cultural & Family Community Celebration, Concert Festival & Active Living Expo.
‘Cultural Music Miles’ with live cultural costumed musical performers entertain and motivate runners at every mile along the marathon route.
We in Surrey are extremely proud of our diverse and colourful cultures (Fusion Fest was more kick-ass this year than EVER before!). To extend this celebration of the diversity in our city, the marathon organizers invite the people of Surrey to proudly wave cultural colours from around the world and set the world record for Most Cultural Flags Waved!
Come to Holland Park Tonight – Free Stuff & You’ll Be Famous!
Free cultural flags will be handed out to participants at Holland Park at approximately 7:15 PM. The record attempt will commence at 7:45 PM and be filmed from a number of locations around Holland Park.
