Hi there!

My name is Janita and while I may be the newest addition to the contributors at Surrey604 I am definitely not the youngest 🙂

Born, raised and continuing to proudly call Surrey my home, I will be posting about things that interest me….culture, food, festivals, special events & anything else I feel confident you will enjoy…did I say food already? I pride myself on finding little holes in the wall that may not be the biggest, but I consider to be the best….Greek, Chinese…..and Indian to name a few. Any suggestions?

I love being outdoors…love the fact we have 4 seasons and think that one of the best sounds is rain falling on a tent. Yes, I do rememeber where I am….and I am not putting together a profile for Match.com. I just find pleasure & happinees in the small things and think sometimes it is easy to forget how lucky we are. I try and remind myself that every day. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

I feel very honored to have been asked to contribute to this site and very excited to be involved in promoting the best that Surrey has to offer…nice to meet you!
